African Continuum Theatre Company has a very important role in the community—locally, as well as nationally and internationally--because it gives voice, respect, understanding and honor to under-served populations.  Over the years, African Continuum Theatre has engaged and employed many local artists, including performers, designers, technicians and educators.

African Continuum truly believes in the ability of live theatre to nurture, heal, and build bridges between communities throughout the Washington metropolitan region.
